Dreamless [Story Remix] by JJ Monester
I could never dream in the city. It was as if my head had gone on strike. When I spent time at the beach my mind ran wild at night. I dreamt of friends and family. I dreamt of animals and farms. I dreamt of accidents and murders.
But in the city—nothing. And then one night I had a dream that sent me into a state of confusion. I was sitting at a railway station waiting for my grandson. I could see him at the end of the platform waving to me and I could see him trying to walk towards me but it was as if there was a transparent wall in front of him.
